OUR SERVICES

Our Jenkintown PA family medicine practice provides complete medical care for every stage of life. Our award-winning Abington area physicians care for each patient individually, and we will never treat you as an insurance claim or a number. Our personal touch is what makes us stand out from other Philadelphia area family practices. We often care for multiple generations of the same family because we’ve been an part of this community for 30 years which allows us to know our patients so well!

NEWBORN CARE

Newborn office visits usually begin in the first week after delivery and are scheduled per AAP guidelines. We understand the concerns and anxiety of first time parents and your early visit focuses on education to alay your anxiety and answer your questions.

PEDIATRICS

From the time your newborn arrives home, we will be available to care for all of your pediatric needs. In the first year, frequent health checks are recommended to assure normal growth and development as we follow AAP guidelines. All necessary pediatric immunizations are available and will be recommended at the appropriate times.

OLDER CHILDREN

Physical examinations for school, sports, and camp are scheduled annually. Vision and hearing tests are routinely performed. Preventative topics including child safety will be reviewed at each appointment.

ADOLESCENTS

This can be a problematic period. It is a good time to review lifestyle habits and promote healthy living. Coping with friends, family, or school may prove stressful, and counseling is an option if needed. We recommend annual wellness exams during these potentially challenging ages.

WOMEN'S SERVICES

We are well trained to manage common office women’s health problems. Routine examinations and PAP smears are encouraged according to the guidelines established by the American Cancer Society. Mammography recommended when appropriate. Family planning and contraception is readily available.

ADULT MEDICINE

Prevention continues to be the theme in this age group. We wholeheartedly recommend routine wellness examinations. Prevention of cancer and cardiovascular disease are two main goals that our dedicated providers strive for.

GERIATRICS

Increasing longevity is now commonplace. Seniors over 65 years of age are becoming the largest population group. The goal of this office is to promote geriatric health, and to hopefully prevent problems that could otherwise interfere with the quality of these years. Flu, shingles, and pneumonia vaccines are recommended for all. Cancer screenings continue and are most important in this high risk age group. Annual examinations are encouraged.
